How does the travel planner and client relationship work?

• The client fills out the trip inquiry form so the travel planner can understand the needs and wants for the trip.

• The client schedules a video call/phone call through my Calendly link (https://calendly.com/blissfulblythetravels/luxury-vacation-consultation)

• After the consultation call, the travel advisor sends a follow-up email and phone call to clarify any missing information and to discuss further the desired vacation experience (if needed).

• The client commits to the planning process and pays the research and concierge fee. 

• The travel advisor then creates the proposal and sends it to the client within seven (7) business days, depending on the complexity of the trip.

• The client reviews the itinerary and, if necessary, changes are made. The trip is booked once the client is satisfied with the proposal.

What can I expect to occur before, during and after travel?

• The travel advisor has trip documentation in order

• Communicates any health, passport and visa requirements

• Sends trip reminders

• Makes any necessary changes, rescheduling, upgrading, and cancellations before and during the trip.

• Travel advisor will check in once or twice during the trip to make sure all is going well, as well as post trip to be sure the trip met expectations.

• Stay in touch and plan more vacations!

How do I know if a travel agent is right for me?

• Reasons to NOT work with me as a travel advisor:

  • You know what you are doing

  • You have time to spend many hours planning and organizing itinerary

  • Your priority is finding a deal rather than getting the best vacation experience.

  • If none of the above applies to you, then you will most likely appreciate working with a travel advisor.

What is included in the concierge fees?

• Customization of trip itinerary which includes: researching, planning, booking, and arranging travel plans (flights, accommodations, transportation, travel insurance, activites, etc.), documentation preparation, communicating health, passport, and visa requirements, 24/7 trip support, trip cancellation, rescheduling and my time and expertise.

• Concierge fee is non-refundable and paid before I begin any trip planning and booking.  We will go over this during the consultation video/phone call.
